that I have written about a lot, and I have come to the conclusion that many parents simply don’t know where to get good information about potty training, while others don’t care. They want their kids potty trained and that is that.
The most important thing that you should know about potty training is that the timing is up to your little one. You can wish and hope all you want, but you need to know that they will not train until they are ready. If you push them too early, you are going to make it more difficult on them, and you are going make the process last even further into the future. You aren't in control when it comes to potty training, no matter how badly you want them to use the potty you are going to have to wait until they are good and ready if you want to see any progress.
You have to know what signs you should be looking for in your child that will signal when they are ready for potty training. Your little one will show a very strong interest in the potty, and they may even try to watch you go whenever you are in the bathroom. Children who are getting ready for potty training often remain dry for a long time, and they will let you know when they are making a bowel movement. There are many other signs, and when you notice more than one of them going on at the same time, you may want to try to introduce them to potty training.
I am one of those people who believes that Pull-Ups have no place in potty training. I didn’t use them, and I think they confuse children. They might be okay for overnight use, but if you should put regualr underwear on them during the day. They need to feel their accident, and you have to resign yourself to cleaning up a few messes every now and then. When you are potty training, you should never get mad about an accident, or act like they are any big deal. Encouragement is the only emotion you should show your children. If you freak out over a potty training accident, you may scare them right back into their diaper. Take your time, and remember that they'll let you know when the time is right. This is one thing that is entirely up to them.
I hear a lot of parents talking about how they are having a hard time potty training their young children. Most of the ones complaining about the way things are going are trying to push their kids when they are way too young. I’m not an expert by any means, but as a writer I do a lot of research. This has been one subject
