Even if you'd like your child to sit up front with you and be able to enjoy the view, you really can't. Many parents mistakenly assume that their child will be just as safe in the front seat, but this just isn't the case.
Safety for kids is really one of the most neglected areas of parenting. Child car seat safety is not the only thing that many parents don't know enough about. I have always thought new parents should have to take an infant child safety standards course when they are pregnant for the first time. It's not that the parents don't mean well, it's just that they don't understand that there are issues to parenting that can't be tackled with common sense.
